Ziplining- Thanksgiving Weekend (and a past Terry Fox Event)













I have to say, ziplining.....always a great way to spend a day. Now there's some thinking that I want to get out again (sooner rather than later). What a beautiful rush.



Terry Fox Run (to replace Relay for Life that I had missed this year)

On another note, just wanted to put up my Terry Fox "Run" experience this past September 2010.  This one is for Papa!!!

Every Relay for Life I turn out to support my Papa- he had beaten cancer and I wanted to be there to walk the track with my family and also to put a smile on my Papa's face.  I always loved the smile in his eyes when he'd see me walk up in some strange combination of colours/ patterns and bouncing along ready to dance/ walk/ skip/ run throughout the night to the soft glow of the luminaries.  I always wanted Papa to be able to easily distinguish and recognize me when I was on the track and also we wanted to easily make out his Survivor luminary (so I also had some bling around to make it fun and bright).

Well looks like you had a fun-filled weekend, it's too bad your brothers didn't join you, so have a great time, free as a bird.
