This used to be my playground...
So, I had the pleasure to once again spend time on my family property. Hunting season and all! I realize (every time I go) how much I miss the country, the solitude, the beautiful view, the darkness of night, the quiet of it all.
It's a grand time to reflect about anything and everything and recharge before coming back into the hustle and bustle of the life I live on the go in the city. That being said, I also love the convenience and all that the city has to offer as well. This is me....a country girl living in the city. I had lunch at church yesterday with some great friends and I was asked how I manage in the city with such a huge love for the country...I really have no answer for it. I love both and perhaps one day I will decide where I want to live to get the best of both words. Until then, I take pleasure in all that I can... so....this used to be my playground. I have such amazing memories of this place and love any opportunity to be reminded of that.

Open spaces...waiting for deer. If I was hunting wild turkey...I would've been set! Mmmmmm....wild turkey..... |

Tree stands. This stand, the one I fell through when the boards rotted out. I haven't had the opportunity to fix it yet...but soon...and it'll look amazing! |

The second tree stand(back fields, awesome...just not so fun to get to fumbling around in the dark). |
The water is extremely low and where normal areas are flooded...they are bone dry. But, no matter how little water there is, the river still looks spectacular!
