Happy 40th Birthday Davester

YOUNG, Gordon Alex - October 13, 1927 - March 14, 2010 Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital surrounded by his loving family in his 83rd year. Survived by his best friend and loving wife Frances (nee Gillespie) of 64 years. Well loved and respected by his children Paul (Janna), Wayne (Sheila), Nancy Davey (Joe Searl) , Velma Storms (Rob), Lyle (Lynne), Dale Wellsbury (Bill), Cindy Karlovic (Bruno). Poppa to 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Also survived by his brother Art Young and his sister Della Atwood. Predeceased by his parents and 7 siblings. Family and friends will be received at the TROUSDALE FUNERAL HOME in Sydenham on Tuesday March 16, 2010 between the hours of 7-9 p.m, and on Wednesday March 17, 2010 between the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held Thursday March 18, 2010 at 11:00 a.m in the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Harrowsmith Cemetery. Members of the Oddfellows and Rebekahs of Harrowsmith are asked to assemble at the Funeral Home on Tuesday March 16 at 6:40 pm for a service of remembrance in memory of Gordon.
